LMS Route: The Birmingham West Suburban Railway

Selly Oak Station: mrso904

A black and white version of Selly Oak station looking towards Birmingham New Street station. The main station structure on the left changed little over the years. The canopy utilises extensive glazing in order to maximise lighting for passengers seated in the waiting rooms etc. On the right is the original waiting room located on the down platform. The canal was sited to the left of the up platform.
