LMS Route: The Birmingham West Suburban Railway

Selly Oak Station: mrso893

British Railways built 4-6-0 B1 No 61394 passes through Selly Oak station as it works a through service from Bristol to Sheffield during the early 1960s. Built by the North British Loco Company in January 1952 as a continuation of Thompson's utilitarian 4-6-0 design, No 61394 remained in service until November 1965 when it was withdrawn from 41J Langwith Junction shed.
