Midland Railway 4-4-0 2P No 515 passes by on an down express train train on 1st August 1921. Also a member of the MR's 483 class, No 515 was also built by Sharp Stewart, in December 1899. The Second World War extended the lives of many old locomotives and No 515 was no exception being finally withdrawn from Rhyl shed in August 1950 having never had its BR number applied.
