British Railways 0-6-0PT 64xx class No 7432 leaves Longbridge station with the 5:09pm Workman's train for Old Hill on Monday 8th April 1957. At this time BR (Western Region) provided two Workman's trains in each direction between Old Hill and Longbridge. The morning trains left Old Hill at 6:50am and 7:18am and were scheduled to arrive at Longbridge at 7:13am and 7:41am respectively. The evening Workman's trains left Longbridge at 5:09pm and 5:40pm, each arriving twenty minutes later at Old Hill.

No 7432 was built in August 1948 at Swindon Works as part of lot 371. The locomotive was initially allocated to Stourbridge Shed and was withdrawn from there in September 1964. Eight 64xx class pannier tanks were allocated to Stourbridge shed in the 1950s for use between Halesowen and Longbridge, where their light axle weight of 15 tons 13 cwt allowed them to cross the Dowery Dell viaduct.
