Looking towards Rubery with the former Midland Railway Longbridge East Signal Box on the left. Having a railway run through the middle of a car manufacturing plant was not ideal and the motor company had to overcome this obstacle. In this photograph a footbridge can be seen in the near distance spanning the railway.
