LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

Looking towards Northfield as MR 4-4-0 No 426 passes through the station on an up local train to Birmingham New Street. The main station buildings are seen on the left - the down platform - and clearly are very substantial and different those on the up platform. The approach to the station was via Station Road which ran adjacent to the down platform. Uniquely Station Road was configured in a 'T' with the two arms at 90° to the running lines with each arm being either side of the passenger footbridge seen in the distance.
