Kings Norton Station: mrkn782

Looking towards Camp Hill along the original down line towards Lifford with Pershore Road bridge in the distance. The station originally opened in 1849 and the up platform buildings undoubtedly include some erected in 1849. The station was remodelled with the opening of the Birmingham West Suburban Railway Kings Norton extension in 1892 which was when the platforms were extended and constructed to a higher elevation than the original platforms.
