Another view of Kings Heath Signal Box and the short siding beyond seen on 25th October 1964. King Heath Signal Box controlled the section to signal No 6, the home signal for Moseley Tunnel. Ballast Sidings, which were located on the Moseley side of Queen's bridge, needed further protection as the visibility of the sidings was severely restricted. This was achieved by the use of a fouling bar incorporated into the pointwork and which prevented the points being moved whilst vehicles were standing over them.
