LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

View of the station as a local passenger service is seen departing from the up platform for Birmingham New Street via the Camp Hill line circa 1912. The number of station staff employed pre-World War One was quite high compared to the inter-war period and especially post-1945, as is evident by the four station staff looking on from the up platform. It may just be a matter of being a later time of day but the number of passengers seen in this view is considerably less than seen in the photographs taken just two years earlier.
