LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

Halesowen Junction: mrhj758

Looking north towards Longbridge Lane bridge and on to Northfield from Halesowen Junction Signal Box on 14th June 1954. Ex-LMS 4F 0-6-0 No 44520 is on a class K stopping freight service and has just crossed from the down goods line and on to Halesowen branch line. North of the junction to Birmingham the lines were classified as slow and fast lines whereas south of the junction to Barnt Green they were known as the goods and fast lines.
