View of the former Birmingham and Derby Junction Railway locomotive shed now being used as a store for a timber merchant. The size of the building provides an indication that Hampton when first opened was considered to be a major terminus for the B&DJR. The shed appears to be two bays wide each with two tracks giving the impression that the shed would have been home to at least eight locomotives assuming two engines for each of the four tracks.
