Close up of image 'mrhaz845' showing the down platform's building which housed the passenger waiting rooms. At the base of the front wall a ladder has been placed. The ladder would have been used to light and extinguish the lamps each day. On the gable wall three fire buckets are suspended probably filled with sand. The nearest door appears to be for the Ladies Waiting Room whilst the porter's office is at the opposite end of the building.
