LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

Evesham Station: mre1347

Messrs H Burlingham & Co coal wagon No 35 built in 1896 by the GRC&WC and registered by the GWR. Bob Essery writes, 'Measuring 15ft 6in x 6ft 11in x 2ft 9in high, the body colour was described as slate with white letters shaded black. This wagon had lower sides than Richard White's, see image 'mre1348' but had raised curved ends, a common feature of coal wagons built during this period'.
