Looking towards Five Ways during the 1885 alterations and building work with the canal on the left and the main line on the right. Adjacent to the wall bordering the canal on the left is the single track of the Cemetery siding laid on top of its own embankment whilst to its right is the unfinished line to Worcester Wharf. The state of this track made it possible in the view of Bob Essery that this was contractor's temporary track and not 'permanent' railway track.
