LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

Looking towards Birmingham along the new main up platform with the station building on the right between the junction with the Redditch branch. The main up platform is occupying the ground where once the up refuge siding was located as seen in image 'mrbg146' amongst others. The quadrupling of the lines from Barnt Green towards Birmingham negated the reason to stable the trains in the refuge siding as the passenger trains would pass on the fast lines whilst the goods trains occupied the slow lines.
