British Railways 9F 2-10-0 No 92117 passes through Bromford Bridge with a Class H through freight service. British Railways classified a Class H as a 'Through freight or ballast train NOT running under class 'C', 'D', 'E', or 'F' headcode'. Built by Crewe works in December 1956, No 92117 was to have a very short working life being withdrawn in December 1967 from 8C Speke shed to be scrapped.
