Close up of image 'mrb489' which shows that Bournville station's staff were no different to other railway staff across all British railway companies when it came to keeping their station both neat and tidy. The use of flower beds, boxes and tubs was a particular favourite with staff and the view above confirms the same was true at Bournville. The two-sided elongated triangular MR station sign was found on most if not all MR stations by the turn of the 19th century.
