Ex-MR 3F 0-6-0 No 43523, another veteran from the Johnson era, is seen in steam inside the shed on 30th March 1958. Built by Derby works in 1897, No 43523 was to remain in service until August 1960 when it was withdrawn from 21A Saltley shed.
