B1 4-6-0 No 61409 was on one of the disposal sidings near the shed on Sunday 25th August 1957. Built by British Railways in May 1950, this engine was halfway through its short existence, being withdrawn in September 1963. It was allocated to Immingham near Grimsby, the home shed of most B1s seen on this side of Birmingham.
