View of the stock of a Cadburys trade visit special headed by clean Jubilee class 4-6-0 No. 45625 'Sarawak', probably on its way to the carriage sidings at Kings Norton, taken by DJ Norton on Wednesday 6th May 1953. The photographer's vantage point is the embankment of the access path to Bournville shed. It is a pity one cannot see the colour of those coaches that aren't painted in the then standard 'blood and custard' livery, as the train is thought to have originated in London, and they may have been painted southern region green. That would have been an unusual sight in this area.
