Bournville Shed: mrb1507

An undated view of the coaling stage at Bournville, taken by D. J. Norton. The top of one of the shed's water cranes is visible above the embankment, In the foreground is a mix of wooden and steel bodied wagons loaded with locomotive coal. The small building behind them, at the foot of the embankment, was probably a latrine. At the end of the yard, the engines in the sidings look to me like the stored ones seen in 'mrb1542', which would date the view to the late fifties.
