The yard could accommodate 40 vehicles in total and was able to deal with a variety of traffic including furniture, livestock, horse boxes, and carriages. The yard crane was equipped to handle loads of up to 1 ton 10 cwt. The Alcester Co-operative Society operated from the yard with wagons painted medium grey with white-shaded black lettering.
