LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

Alcester Station: mra132

A later view of the Midland Railway's Kirtley double framed 0-6-0 locomotive at the head of the goods train passing through the station. This photograph was taken just after the view seen in image 'mra131'. However in the few minutes since the last photograph the number of passengers seen on the platform has greatly increased. Noticeable is that all of the men seen in the photograph, including the "bobby" leaning out the window of the signal box, are wearing head wear from flat caps to bowler hats.
