Looking towards Kings Norton showing the original Birmingham West Suburban Railway route on the left and Bournville shed on the right on 12th January 1959. The diversion that made the original Birmingham West Suburban route redundant is seen passing to the right of Bournville signal box. As seen above, the original route has been downgraded to a single line siding.
