British Railways built 2MT 2-6-0 No 46492 is seen at Winson Green on 5:26pm New Street to Lichfield, via Bescot, service on 11th September 1959. This Ivatt designed locomotive was built by Darlington Plant in December 1951 and was to remain in service until June 1967 when it was withdrawn from 9L Buxton shed to be scrapped by J Buttigieg of Newport.
