LMS Route: Leamington to Weedon

A later view of British Railways Type 2 Bo-Bo D5137 as it propels the two brake vans forward through the closed Southam & Long Itchington station towards Marton Junction on 21st June 1966. Because the line operated on the principle of 'one engine in steam' D5137 could propel the two brake vans ahead of itself to the junction where it would then travel to Rugby with the brake vans behind itself.
