Rugby Station - LMS Period Locomotives: lnwrrm805

LMS 4-6-0 Royal Scot class No 6102 'Black Watch' in original condition is seen on an up express leaving the station on 23rd June 1928. Classified with a power rating of 6P No 6102 was built by the North British Locomotive Company in September 1927 and after being rebuilt as a Converted Royal Scot class locomotive with the new 2A tapered boiler, remained in service until it was withdrawn from Corkerhill shed, Glasgow in December 1962 for scrapping by J McWilliam & Sons of Shettleston in July 1964.
