A 1924 aerial view of the immediate northern approaches to Rugby station with the ex-Midland Railway engine shed seen in the centre foreground. Hunter's Wagon Repair workshops can be seen with numerous wagons standing in rows. The wagons standing in rows on the right were accessed by a siding running at 90º to them in front of the workshop's gable ends. Each connected via a wagon turntable and manoeuvred by a strong horse as seen in this photograph.
