Ex-LMS 4-6-2 Coronation Class No 46237 'City of Bristol' is seen on a northbound express in the late 1950s. Built in streamlined form by Crewe works as LMS No 6237 it was renumbered by British Railways in July 1948. a number it carried until October 1964 when it was withdrawn from 12B Upperby shed in Carlisle to be scrapped by Arnott Young of Troon.
