Rugby Station: lnwrrm3955

An unidentified ex-LNWR 0-8-0 'Super D' passes through Rugby Midland on a down Permanent Way train in the early 1960s. A row of old cottages had once stood here. Some time after the 1885 station was built these cottages were demolished to allow the railway to build additional down lines. Note the Bedford Duple bus on the right standing outside the main entrance to the station.
