Ex-LMS 6P Rebuilt Royal Scot 4-6-0 No 46146 'The Rifle Brigade' is seen passing Clifton Road Junction at the head of a down Type 4 freight service. Built by the North British Locomotive Company in November 1927, No 46146 was originally a Henry Fowler parallel boilered design and was rebuilt with a Type 2A tapered boiler when its original boiler was life expired carrying it until November 1962 when it was withdrawn from 1A Willesden shed to be scrapped by Crewe works.
