A later view of the ex-LNWR Special Tank Engine showing the crew posed for John McCann's camera in March 1954. The five were deployed for use in departmental stock, with four No 3, No 6, No 7 and No 8) as shunters at Wolverton railway works, and No 3323, a shunter at Crewe Works. Its assumed that the above locomotive's nameplate is short for 'Carriage Depot Wolverton'.
