LNWR 4-6-0 Prince of Wales Class No 433 is seen passing beneath the GC bridge on a down parcels express. Built in April 1922 by Beardmore Limited in Dalmuir, Glasgow, No 433 was renumbered as LMS No 5836 in January 1927 and again as LMS No 25836 in June 1934 which it carried in service until it was withdrawn in March 1936 for scrapping by Crewe works.
