Ex-LMS 4F 0-6-0 No 44522 is being prepared for its next trip whilst standing in front of No 1 shed during Spring 1959. Built by Crewe works in July 1928, No 44522 was to remain in service until October 1965 when it was withdrawn from 8B Dallam shed in Warrington.
