Ex-LMS 4-6-0 'Black 5' No 45237 is seen being re-railed by Rugby's breakdown crane after colliding with ex-LMS 2-6-4T No 42541 in 1962. Built as LMS No 5237 by the Armstrong Whitworth Company in August 1936 No 45237 remained in service until September 1965 when it was withdrawn from 6B Mold Junction shed. Fellow casualty No 42541 was built by Derby to Lot 127 in December 1935 and remained in service until December 1962 when it was withdrawn from 2A Rugby shed.
