View looking north from Rugby's original No 7 signal cabin located on the up side of the line to Stafford. The signal cabin was erected adjacent to Newbold Road overbridge, opening on 8th November 1885 and closing on 3rd March 1935 due to subsidence, the signal cabin being built on an embankment. The signal bridge has six sets of arms, the two on the left being for the Leamington branch, the next three arms with circles on them are for either goods loops or sidings whereas the two on the right are for the lines to Birmingham and Stafford.
