Ex-LMS 4-6-0 Jubilee class No 45644 'Howe' is seen at Hillmorton on 12 noon Manchester to Euston express on 26th May 1958. The Northampton lines are seen to the right of the locomotive with Hillmorton signal box in the distance. Built as LMS No 5644 at Crewe works to Lot 205 in December 1934 No 45644 remained in service until November 1963 when it was withdrawn from 5B Crewe South shed to be scrapped by Crewe works.
