Ex-LNWR George the V class 4-4-0 No 5337 'TJ Hare' stands stored next to the coal stacks by the repair workshop on 24th May 1936. Built as LNWR No 1195 at Crewe works in October 1911, No 5337 was renumbered by the LMS in August 1926 which it carried until July 1936 when it was withdrawn from service just a few months after this photograph was taken.
