British Railways built 3MT 2-6-2T No 41285 is seen running bunker first at the head of a goods train near Ashby junction circa 1964. Built to an LMS design at Crewe works in November 1950, No 41285 was with Push-Pull equipment fitted and remained in service until December 1966 when it was withdrawn from Upperby shed in Carlisle to be scrapped in April 1967 by the Motherwell Machinery & Scrap Company of Inshaw Works.
