British Railways Standard Class 7MT 4-6-2 No 70018 'Flying Dutchman' heads through Nuneaton on an up express on 20th August 1964. Built by Crewe works in June 1951, this Britannia Class locomotive was to remain in service until December 1966 when it was withdrawn from 12A Kingmoor shed to be scrapped by Motherwell Machinery and Scrap Ltd of Wishaw.
