Ex-LMS 4-6-0 5MT No 45134 of Northampton (1H) shed enters the station at the head of a fully fitted down express freight train at about 5:30pm on Thursday 26th March 1964. Built as LMS No 5134 by Armstrong Whitworth in May 1935, No 45134 received its BR number in September 1948 and was to remain in service until August 1968 when it was withdrawn from 10A Carnforth shed to be scrapped by Cohens of Kettering.
