Ex-LMS 4-6-0 'Black 5' No 45311 is seen at the head of a fast fitted freight service as it passes in front of Nuneaton's shunting hump. Built by the Armstrong Whitworth Company in February 1937 No 45311 remained in service until October 1966 when it was withdrawn from Shrewsbury shed to be scrapped during May 1967 by J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
