LMS Route: Nuneaton to Leamington

Ex-LNWR 4-6-0 Prince of Wales class No 5635 'Charles Lamb' is seen in red livery approaching Nuneaton station at the head of a down express circa 1928. Built as LNWR No 2152 at Crewe works in February 1914 No 5635 received its LMS running number in March 1926 and remained in service until March 1934 when it was withdrawn to be scrapped immediately.
