Ex-LMS 2-6-2T 4P No 42566 is seen at the head of a train arriving at the station from Long Itchington. The first coach behind the bunker is E88115E, a seven compartment ex-LNER 3rd/1st Composite. In the distance another train is to be seen being held by the down signal and would soon be brought forward into the station to allow No 42566 to enter the section between Napton & Stockton and Flecknoe. Built as LMS No 2566 in August 1936 by the North British Locomotive Company of Glasgow, it was renumbered by British railways in May 1949 which it retained until May 1965 when it was withdrawn from 6C Mollington Street shed in Birkenhead.
