A late 1950s view of the exterior of Kenilworth station showing the whole of the canopy structure removed and exposing the ornate brickwork. Whilst other stations, such as Coventry, had had their glass replaced after the Second World War Kenilworth's ornate ironwork was dismantled probably reflecting the drop in passenger traffic and a precursor to the decision to close the station. The car on the left appears to be a Coventry built Standard 8 or 10, the number signifying the car's engine power rating expressed in horsepower.
