Ex-Midland Railway 0-6-0 No 58185, a member of the MR's 1142 class, pauses beneath the footbridge which provided a right of way for pedestrians crossing to the new Harborne Estates. Built as MR No 1245 by Neilson, Reid & Company in December 1876, it was renumbered as No 3013 by the MR in June 1907 which it retained until September 1947 when it was renumbered by the LMS as 23013 only for it to be renumbered by British Railways as No 58185 in August 1948 which it retained until July 1962 when it was withdrawn from 21B Bescot shed to be scrapped by J Cashmores of Great Bridge.
