A later colour view of Four Oaks station that shows a little of the station's approach road. The platform configuration seen in this photograph is; far left - platform 3, centre - platform 2 (both on the island platform) and nearest the camera - platform 1. The island platform served traffic to Birmingham with platform 2 generally serving through trains from Lichfield and platform 3 serving trains terminating at the station from New Street.
