Flecknoe Station: lnwrflek1315a

In this close up of image 'lnwrflek1315' showing Flecknoe station's single-storey building and its miscellaneous furniture and fixings including station clock, porter's barrow and oil lamps. The station clock is identical to that seen at Southam & Long Itchington and was protected from the elements by the timber 'hood'. The diamond and circular tokens seen hanging on the wall indicate the condition of the signaling equipment and were normally seen on the side of signal boxes. As Flecknoe station operated its signals and points from a ground frame these items were hung outside the office containing the ground frame.
