LMS Route: Nuneaton to Coventry

View of the Foleshill station's down platform filled with factory workers commuting to all stations along the branch to Nuneaton. The factories located near to Coundon Road, Daimler Halt and Foleshill stations would create massive numbers of commuters for the railway at the start and of the working day. This meant that trains were so overcrowded that most passengers would be standing throughout their journey which because they were typically short was not a major issue.
