LMS Route: Nuneaton to Coventry

Looking along the Halt towards Coventry from Sandy Lane bridge on a wet summer's day on 1st June 1964. Part of the ticket clerk's box can still be seen on the left as can the British Railways running in board (station name board) although the basic waiting shelters have now been removed some five or so months after the station closed. The removal of some of the paving on the down (left) platform would appear to be an attempt to limit access by the general public to the platform whilst allowing railway staff safe passage.
